46 Mommas
Approximately 46 kids are diagnosed with cancer each weekday in the US. We are cancer moms who have united to raise funds for important pediatric oncology research through The St.Baldrick's Foundation. Our annual teams are comprised of women from across the U.S., with different backgrounds, beliefs and lifestyles; there is one thing that they have in common --- childhood cancer.
In 2010 our inaugural team established a fundraising goal of $1million. Each year, a new class of 46 Mommas is inducted into the cause to empower and engage mothers of children with cancer. http://46mommas.com
Through increasing awareness of childhood cancer and raising funds for childhood cancer research by shaving our heads, we hope to one day be a group that no longer needs to exist.

About 46 Mommas
The 46 Mommas are women from across the United States whose children were diagnosed with cancer. Some of these children have died, some have survived and others are still in treatment. In 2010 the inaugural team came together from across the country and met in Hollywood, California to shave their heads as a fundraiser for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Our second ‘46Mommas Shave for the Brave’ event, with a whole new team of mother, will take place in Washington D.C, on September 21, 2011.
