The Leacock Foundation
The Leacock Foundation is transforming lives of children in Toronto and South Africa through education. Founded by Peter Oliver, brilliant restauranteur and role model. Mission:
Making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged and academically at-risk youth.
The Leacock Foundation is dedicated to providing enhanced educational opportunities for disadvantaged and academically at-risk children living in Toronto and South Africa, through literacy and other academic interventions. Programs are delivered via a unique program model, called the Triangle of Hope. This model partners an independent school in Toronto with a high-needs school in Toronto and a high-needs school in South Africa. Together, they build community networks, locally and globally, and share in countless meaningful educational opportunities.
