PAH Breast Trials Unit
Help us raise awareness about how important clinical drug trials are so we can prevent, diagnose & treat ALL kinds Breast Cancer.
Within the local area covered by Princess Alexandra and St Margaret’s hospitals, approximately 350 new patients are diagnosed with breast cancer each year. Of these, 10% would benefit from treatments that are NOT standard on the NHS and hence currently NOT available in the Epping/Harlow area. PAH Breast Trials Unit hopes to fund these treatment options and train specialists in providing the new treatments not currently available in the local area.
