About iPads for Soldiers
US troops serving in Afghanistan are risking their lives far away from their homes and loved ones. They have no TV or cell phone, and no way to carry heavy books or computers in their 110‑lb rucksacks.

Wounded warriors recovering in our Nation's Military Hospitals are adjusting to a new way of life. Some have endured serious injuries that may effected their mobility, sight, hearing, or independence. They have very few forms of entertainment during their long hospital stay.

Since December of 2010, when we launched our initial fund-raiser and collected over $50,000 in donations, we have donated over 500 iPads to troops and to our wounded soldiers repatriated stateside to recover in our Nation's Military Hospitals.

Thanks to your donations, more soldiers will be able to access the Internet, download eBooks, video chat with a loved one, and learn new skills.

iPads for Soldiers is managed by The C.H.R.I.S. Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non‑profit serving veterans and our military.
